Kiss the dolphins in Key West!

This 2-day Swim with the Dolphins Key West Getaway includes a stop at the Everglades before reaching Key West. Spend the night in the Keys and the next morning you will be whisked away for a Dolphin encounter at the Dolphin Research Center. There are different packages available to fit age, swimming level, and desired level of interaction. Choose from the Deep Water Experience, Shallow Water Experience, or Spectator Only options. After enjoying an encounter with the dolphins, you will head back to Orlando with a stop to visit Miami. Don't forget to pack a towel, swimsuit, and biodegradable sunblock!

Rates are per person and based on double to quadruple occupancy per room. If your party is between 2-4, one room will be provided. If your party is 5 or more, 2 rooms will be provided. There is a 2 person minimum to book this tour.

~Pickups may also be arranged for your hotel in the Orlando-to-Kissimmee tourist corridor, at selected hotels in downtown Orlando, or at selected hotels in the Orlando International Airport area - for an additional fee payable the day of the tour. Details on how to arrange for these hotel pickups at additional cost will be included in your E-Ticket. There are no pickup options for Altamonte Springs, Maitland, Winter Park, or the UCF area.

Itinerary

Come for the best Swim with the Dolphins package available from Orlando. The day begins when we travel to South Florida, taking a rest stop in the Florida Everglades. Zip around on an airboat, the world renowned form of swamp transport, as you look for alligators in their natural habitat. Take a picture with an alligator at the handling show before you leave the Everglades.

Then you head south into the Keys, over the floating highway and across 7 mile bridge. The scenery is absolutely spectacular as turquoise blue waters surround you on both sides of the highway.

After checking in at your Key West hotel, you will spend the evening at Mallory Square. Why not take part in the Sunset Celebration? There's also an optional sunset cruise. In evening, Key West comes alive. Spend time in one of the classic tropical bars or simply stroll the quaint streets and gift shops of this charming town. The choice is yours!

The following morning after breakfast, you will depart the hotel heading to the Dolphin Research Center. There you will enter the exciting world of dolphins, participating in a playful, structured, interactive program. During a workshop, the trainer will explain what to expect and also show you basic hand signals so you can ask the dolphins to perform a variety of interactive behaviors during your session. The Deep Water Dolphin Encounter includes the exhilarating dorsal fin pull as you fly through the water.

To participate in the Deep Water program, guests must be at least 5 years old, and children ages 5 through 7 must be accompanied in the water by a paid adult participant. Guests must also be able to speak and understand English.

Not a swimmer, uncomfortable in deep water, or have younger children? Choose the Shallow Water Dolphin Encounter for a great time interacting with the dolphins on a submerged platform. The Shallow Water Encounter is open to all ages with no language requirement. A participating adult must accompany each child younger than 8. Children ages 4 and younger must each be held on a parent's hip while in the water. A chance to purchase some photos of your swim will be available (additional cost). This is the chance of a lifetime to swim with the dolphins in this not-for-profit, non-commercial environment!

Following your dolphin encounter, you will continue north to experience the Latin beat of the city of Miami. You'll have time on your own to enjoy dinner, see the homes of the stars, or take a little time for shopping in this city famous for its art, fashion and style - the Miami Vice lifestyle! As the sun sets, you'll leave Miami for Orlando after enjoying 2 full days of fun and excitement for the entire family!
