Moonlight paddles are truly one of our favorite tours. We launch in early evening in order to capture natural Florida bathed in the colors of the sunset, then paddle for another ninety minutes enjoying the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in the coolness of the night. As the light of the moon illumines the landscape you will be amazed what you see - dolphins, manatees, night herons, and owls. Bioluminescent comb jellyfish arrive in the cooler monthes - a light show of another kind. In the summer and early fall months the waters in the lagoon are bioluminescent. Enjoy the beauty of the moon on the water and still see some level of bioluminescence in the moon shadows. Beauty, peace, breathtaking scenery - That's what this tour is all about.

The diversity of life, paired with beautiful scenery, make kayking this area a msut for vactioners and residents alike. Paddle the still mangrove backwaters as opsrey soar overhead - perhaps carrying a freshly caught mullet. Cross expansive grass flats and perhaps see the lagoon's top predator - the dolphin - working the flats.
